18/3/08 , got camp . Sianz...
I went to school then see people carrying sleeping bag, then I look at my things and OMG!!!!!!!!
NEVER BRING SLEEPING BAG!!!!!!!! Then I saw my friend and ask him to carry it to my place where I sit in the morning. As I was getting late I run like hell. When I reach school, I was LATE.=[ For the first time I was "kena" yellow penalty card (detention card). After that, Joseph and I went to find Miss Yong for the first aid box then we saw Atikah. She gave us the first aid box and told us not to lend it to anyone. The first activity was the water activity! We did kayaking and dragon boating, had lots of fun, even when it rained. It's all about teamwork man! We had our lunch and refreshing shower. Ah.... it feels so great =D We boarded a bus and headed to Bukit Batok campsite. It took an hour to get there. xD It's a long ride but I didn't sleep coz the one sitting beside me is sleeping like a pig with his head on my shoulder. I, the considerate one, did not wake my little friend in dreamland o.o
When we arrived at the destination, I snapped him out of his dreamland.xp I'm wicked? O.o No, I'm kind enough to wake him up, otherwise everyone will abandon him on the bus.=p He'll follow the driver back to his home sweet home. xD We did our famous "makan cheer" and ate dinner. During the night, we had to fill up the NYAA book but I forgot to bring it =.= We had our supper and the trainers led us to our marvellous tent where we slept at that night. The trainers started nagging about not switching on the torchlight unless necessary. It must be 45 degree facing the ground coz of myth about "dirty things" in the campsite area. Spooky! O.O
The first overnight was splendid. I slept in the same tent with my friends. The tent can contain a maximum of 6-8 people. I'm the one who was sleeping in the most comfortable position coz some people even got crammed. Lucky me! =p
The next day, we woke up at 6am to prepare for high elements. We rock climbed. Yeeha! I'm the first one to climb the rock wall and also my first experience to climb a 3-4 storey rock wall. Without fail, I made it to the top! I'm so proud of myself and not to mention, my professional skills haha... xp I evied my friends who were zip lining/flying fox T.T
Suddenly, someone fell down and got injured. Miss Ham asked me to tend to his injuries for gaining experience in my first aid. As it was raining, our belongings were drenched!! We got our belongings out of the flooded tent. Luckily my things were not so wet but my poor friend forgot to keep his sleeping bag and it ended up like a soaked towel. We shifted to the challet site to dry our drenched belongings and changed into the F.O.C. camp T-shirt!
Heading towards the campfire site, we settled down in our groups where we sang and cheered. Our principal was also invited to our trip as well. She said she'll be with us till sec 3. Woo! Yeah!
Thereafter, we bathed and slept on the freezing basketball court. Due to the strong wind, I shared a sleeping bag with my friend. I used my own sleeping bag as my dear pillow. haha =X
Third day of camp, we had a quick breakfast and did an area cleaning. Headed back to home sweet home after that. Phew! Home at last! =]
